Tips for attending this online wedding

Zoom

Zoom is a premier video conferencing service. It is easy and free to use and will allow you to fully participate in the wedding! All you need is an electronic device with camera and audio ability (laptop, tablet, or smartphone). If you are already familiar with Zoom, please simply follow the link in your invitation to join the wedding.

If you are new to Zoom, you can either (1) download the application on your mobile device or computer or (2) join from your web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Mozilla). To join from your browser, follow the link: zoom.us/wc/join/ and enter the meeting number and password from your invitation email.

If, you are still having trouble, as a last resort, please head to zoom.us/join, type in the meeting number along with the password and your full name, and join the event.

We suggest testing out Zoom in advance of July 11th with friends and family. On the day of the wedding, we will open the “doors” 30 minutes early to give you time to get settled.

Rest assured that our team will be in charge of muting and unmuting the crowd to ooh, ahh, and cheer the wedding! However, there are a few things you can do at home to help us make the wedding successful. Please make sure to:

What about social media?

Since you're inviting us all into your homes through Zoom, we'd like to respect everyone's privacy and ask that you don't post screenshots, photos, or videos of the event to social media.

Are pets and kids welcome?

Definitely. The couple are excited to be able to share their day not only with you, but also your children and pets. We're expecting that their cat Dude will make an appearance. We've also tried to add a few features like a group dance and a 'Nojito' mocktail recipe to keep the kids involved.

What should I wear?

The bride and groom will be dressing as snazzily as they can in the circumstances, but with the pandemic raging there's no dress code, just whatever you can find in your wardrobe to help the celebration.
